Well last week we were super lucky enough to see some fantastic comedy acts, Edinburgh Fringe Festival finalists of our client Caledonian’s ‘Take the Mic’ competition at an event that brought the Edinburgh Fringe to our very own sunny toon. The finalists for the competition are performing every night this week at various venues across Edinburgh finishing at the Caledonian Brewery on Saturday 21st August with an overall winner. Our photographer Sarah was at the Central Station performance at Centurian bar to capture the crowds reactions and bemused commuters! Later that day there was a 250 ticket sell out event at ‘As You Like It’ in Jesmond. The crowd were whooped up into a frenzy, howling and falling about at the four acts and brilliant resident Heyena Cafe compare. One of the performers was a geordie lad, Kai Humphries from Ashington, so lets cross our fingers for him to win (he was by far the best!), howay the lad!!

One of our clients, Caledonian Breweries is one of the official sponsors for the Fringe Festival currently running in Edinburgh.
We were lucky enough to create some exciting POS for Deuchars ale. So if you are up there this year, in amongst the unicycles, fire breathers and stand ups, grabbing yourself a quirky hat and sporting stripey socks to fit with the street festi vibe, look out for the posters with the blue back drops, grab yourself a pint of yummy Deuchers and get some great snaps for the photo competition! You could win loadsa money!

A Seriously Good Idea

Ramsay's red nose

Ramsay's red nose

Loving the launch campaign for Gordon Ramsay’s Seriously Good Sauce range. Visited the BBC Good Food Show Scotland at the weekend and was handed this mask of Gordon wearing a red nose as around 10p from every jar is being donated to Comic Relief. Gordon’s nose wasn’t you regular charity red nose; it was a splodge of red sauce, a truly brilliant marketing collaboration!
